Blink; An interesting Book

Yesterday I read a book called Blink. (For more info go to http://www.gladwell.com/blink/index.html) .

The book is essentially about three concepts.
1. We have "Adaptive unconscious": A brain function, which keeps on processing data without we being aware of it. Essentially it is responsible for the spontaneous, gut feel based decisions what we take.
2. Such "Blink" decisions can be good and correct. Little training and trusting them helps
3. At times, we can be very wrong with the "Blink" decisions and one of the reasons could be the bias/ pre conceived notions that we hold in our heads...

It also talks about how can the thinking process be influenced and directed, that was very very interesting.

All in all, a good book. The writing style is fluid, rather than giving dry theory, the book takes a story telling approach. This is the good and bad about the book.
